Thanksgiving Week '22

How about this week off?!  Crazy thing is we had half of last week off for the storm that cam through. Loving it! If you know me you know I am not a huge holiday person!  For some reason or another they all come down to forcing people together and calling it awesome. Ha!  All that aside, I do enjoy getting together sometimes. It just can’t be too much.  How much is too much? No clue till it’s there lol.  This Thanksgiving was nice. Not too many folks but enough that there was good conversations going on around the rooms.  It was refreshing for me because I usually do not stick around that long at these gatherings specifically because they get to be too much, so it was nice to be able to participate.

Nice spread for food, as usual. Turkey, Ham, cornbread, etc…  Also quite a few pies for desert, both store bought and homemade!  This brings me to another important point… Cranberry sauce is absolute trash. Straight dumpster juice. A friend of mine, a staunch CS supporter, says “It completes the meal”… I beg to differ, ma’am.  It completes the meal like a ticket completes a traffic stop….not an optimal outcome. Get it out of there. You want my vote as a politician, get rid of cranberry sauce hahaha On a serious note, no idea how anyone enjoys it. SO that’s my thinking about this Thanksgiving!
